As far as I know if you want to recieve the updates to the database after whatever period is included with the unit then you will have to subscribe.

Although you don't have to subscribe after the initial free period, the GPS 'locators' such as the s3 will be crap if not regularly updated.

Can get one for £150 next day delivery would you say it's worth it ??

s4 is very very good :) theres s3s for sale on bigpockets quite cheap iirc. the guy that owns bigpockets comes on here as well, so maybe you could ask him?
