Now there's a good question which route did I take lol ...... I have the map at home but we started off from the airstrip? the opposite side of Macinders. We started on a normal route but then went off track camping the whole way. Didnt see a single sole for 5 days, amazing. Once up and over the top of Point Linara we came down the other side which for me is the glacier side?
It was year and a half ago now so i cant remember the exact route .......there are a few though arent there? Sirimon, Chiggoria etc etc
I was happy to see the Naru Mara lodge at the end I know that ......... Had a special treat night in the New Stanley hotel in Nai robbery on the way back too which was cool.
lovely place Kenya, once outside of the cities. The people in the fields waving, children chasing our open top lorry was brilliant and will stay with me for ever.
A couple of piccies
The peaks
spot the ice lion
At the start only 45KM to go to the top

Cool pictures !!!
Have a look at my website, it's got some pics of us doing an extreme 4x4 charity event in Kenya. (www.teammetalmotorsport.com)
I not too good with names of places... But do recall that there are two routes up Mt. Kenya. One is from Naro Moro River lodge, the other is from the opposite end. The opposite end being a little marshier.... We did, definately climb it for the opposite side. We road up on scramblers as far up as we could and hiked the rest of the way. Wish I could do it again, but don't think my fitness levels are what they used to be !!!

Pics are jumbled from both the Quattro cross & Rhino Charge. Our rally pics are yet to be posted on.
'cream' classic would defo stand out. But, all things said, Niarobi is splitting it's sides with Subarus. They're EVERYWHERE !!!!
