Lightbulb Business Idea's

Ok guys time has come for me to stop working for someone else and get of my **** and do it for my self hours and hard work do not bother me as i do it already at current employer so come on ideas?

Anybody started of a business in there area that is doing well and wants to spread the business or someone that has a franchise and is looking for people to expand there business come on i need this BIG time like everybody else i guess lol .

I am in the West Lothian Area (Just Outside Edinburgh) so if your looking for hard worker let me know or know of anybody looking for a partner in a business let me know also cheers guys ???

mobile valeter? not the best time of year for it though.

drive through cafe sell coffee on the go to all the business reps?

internet cafe? sell beer and food whilst your at it

First thing you'll need is lots of cash upfront (moreso if it's a franchise).

Internet cafes are closing down at a rapid rate. Even EasyInternet (or whagtever Stelio's business is called) is closing down/reducing the size of branches....

Also, what are you experienced in to date? Sales? Marketing? Manual? Technical? Retail?

You'd want to hopefully draw on your areas of expertise gained already in your working life to date.

I have experience in Fire Prevention Ex Firefighter and Computers only in hobbie though but i have heard that Gas Engineers get good money but 3 year trainning and start of at about £11k no good for me on about £22k just now can draw on about £20k to start of a business though what about a shop news agent's or sweet shop any ideas on them i have a bit of a Money brain but no ideas allways kinda wanted my own shop though ???

If you're an ex-firefighter, it might be an idea to go down the Health & Safety route. Company public/employers liability insurances are currently sky-high and consequently there's a lot of H&S paranoia about, therefore H&S consulting is doing pretty well at the moment. Enrol on a NEBOSH course & charge companies thousands for knocking up Safety Manuals / Risk Assessments, etc. Your firefighting background should be a good basis as I imagine you will be pretty clued up about fire prevention & risk reduction.

[edit] though it might be a good idea to learn that apostrophes are used in the possessive and not plural sense (for when you're writing the manuals obviously) !
