That's the problem, you can't see them exiting the cycle.

the dagenham ones for instance, her mum doesn't really care, the daughter doesn't care, has a sprog who inevitably doesn't care. Never ending unless 'someone' does something about it.

There were some common factors though.
a) Nothing to to - they're bored
b) Lack of parental concern (the cycle thing above)
c) No dad as far as I can see
d) Some form of tradegy for some (2 or 3 of them had dads who'd died).

Some of them just need a kick up the ar$e, a good talking to, maybe a spot of jail etc. but some of them need proper help as no amount of ar$e kicking, talking to and jail is gonna help.

Social services, schools etc. do what they can across the country but in crapholes like Hackney and Dagenham the whole thing falls apart.

In light of other threads, I'd best add that it's all Tony Blairs fault. Well they are selling off playing fields etc. (although they do seem to have a purpose in being used for driving lessons in the program )

I am so glad I live in a leafy suburb in Cheshire, I am the roughest and poorest Chav Scum on our road (originally from Moss Side, via Wythenshawe, Heald Green and Timperley), Its funny how Chavs are generally poor but Essex seems to have invented the loaded Chav, I see no stigma in having no money if you have a little class.

I think the Jewish guys featured did well not to come out and **** them as well, years of persecution and the holcaust to deal with, I think they could well do without aggro from the lowest common denominator, the fact was those two scabby cows were just jealous of the fact the Jews have some money, aspirations, a life and were in fact directing their anger at the wrong people, they only have themselves to blame, GO TO SCHOOL YOU LITTLE SLAG !!!

I would imagine a large proportion of the black community are cringing at that, does no favours when the average Sunday Mail reader sees it and decides all black people are like that.

basically, he was killed ( for undisclosed reasons) and her mum gave evidence to send the killer down.
She was then put into witness protection -hence why her face was blurred and certain sounds/names etc blanked out of the sound track to protect her new identity.

As someone pointed out on another forum, the dad obviously didn't have life insurance to look after the family. Does anyone know anyone who ownes a nice big house and has a family but no life insurance? so a drug dealer sounds feasible but hey! we don't know anyway but can draw our own conclusions. Not the kids fault that their dad died tho, so although it doesn't excuse her behaviour, it explains it somewhat.
