How do you trigger Labour?
2 weeks to go until the little 'un arrives but the suspense is killing me - how can I quicken things up?
PS - the other half doesn't like curry so that won't work!

What to do is sit down on a sunday afternoon watching a DVD. When your wife complains of constipation, go and make her some all bran.
30 mins later when this doesn't work ask her nicely to stop moaning.
When the moaning continues massage her back for an hour.
When another 30 mins passes and she still has constipation, call the hospital for some advice on what to take to relieve symptoms.
Go to the Hospital.
Find out that it is not constipation and by that time your wife will be nicley in labour and 6hrs later a lovely baby girl pops out.
Well, it worked for me

I found a site that reckoned the prostaglandin was getter absorbed through the gut.
I just got smacked when I suggested a *******.
Pineapples ( fresh, not tinned ) are allegedly good.

Raspberry tea & a bit of 'doggy style' is usually a good start. Although I must admit I never bothered with the latter as the prospect of ******** a space hopper was a major turn off !!

thanks messiah
you can get it in Holland & Barrett. Tastes disgusting by all reports.
I would have thought the leaf bit was a give-away too but I have some fairly daft friends who thought it 'might' taste of raspberries

Friends are going through the same thing at the moment!
The due date was Friday 13th August and she is still currently sat at home waiting! She is due to be induced today, so sometime tomorrow (or maybe even the day after)
The due date is only a rough guess and they rarely show up on the date!
My friend has been having mild constractions since last Tuesday, so just over 6 days!
Has you wife's mucus plug come out yet? If not, you still have a bit of a wait. If your hospital induce after a fornight, you potentially still have a months wait ahead of you!!

I took the wife to our local chippy, sophisticated as I am.
Bought her chips and gravy and "hey presto" (or should that be Bisto)
3 hours later
" Wake up my waters have broke" those immortal words that send all mankind into a blind panic. Out with the surf board and shorts SURFS UP !!!
Apparently I jumped up out of bed and shouted "hang on I need a dump"

friend of mine also did the headless chicken thing, packed everything in the car that had been waiting for days and got to the bottom of the drive before he realised he had forgotten his wife!!!
