Bourne Supremacy = ill
Just back from watching the Bourne Supremacy and I hardly watched half the film because the rest of the time I had my eyes closed!! The carmera was aways moving and cutting and even during the slow taking scenes it was handheld and moving more than when my 12 year old sister gets hold of the camcorder Total spoiled what was probably a great film otherwise Has anyone else noticed this? I was very nearly sick in the cinema with the dizzyness and when I got home and did a review search sure enough others had commented on it!!

Hello
I came to the conclusion (in the first film) that they did that because Matt Damon cannot fight at all. And it's the only way to make the fights look "exciting", by cutting between cameras and shaking them around.
Steve.

I agree, cracking film (not as good as the books though IMHO), but WTF were they playing at. Completely ruined the car chase with all the "trying to make it look fast and exciting" camera shaking effects.

loved it,although why the hell they didnt stick closer to the books is beyond me.Bourne as an ex-nutter-assasin Vietnam vet is infinately better
the camera work didn't bother me though

Spoild the film a bit for me.
Way too much shaking, the car chase (esp in the tunnel) was just way way too shaky.
The problem was you had no idea what was going on - the chase starts, blurr blurr blurr, damon hobbles off.
There should have been a few clear shots to show what was happening.
Otherwise - top film. A little bit predicdable though

The main fight scene in the 1st one was amazing I thought, and hoped there would be a good one in the sequal, but as said, it was too shaky to see what was going on

I too thought it was a great film, spoilt by shoddy camerawork
Personally I thought Matt Damon was a good choice for both films. Last time I looked the vast majority of the world's armed forces, and therefore, by deduction, black ops forces, are in their late teens to mid twenties. I think it's James Bond's fault that movie goers like to believe that special agents should be nearer their bus pass than their student union card

Did anyone else notice the way the Russian secret service guy was driving a nice shiny 7 series around Moscow, then conveniently got into a Benz for the exceedingly destructive car chase, bit of subtle product placement there?
PS I can't really see a knackered Lada estate being able to push a 2 ton G Wagen that quickly sideways
