Why is there never any "good news"
I'm getting a bit pssied off with all the nasty things going on in the community. . . . carjackings, bricks @ roofs, etc etc etc
Is nothing "good" happening anymore?

something good happens everyday, children are born, people are married, people fall in love and meet new people... blah blah but the bbc dont think of it as exciting news and therefore doesnt get publicised

It's depressing. . . . it's getting like the US where the bad news is used to feed paranioa - which inturn promotes Gun ownership & "Home defence" industry. (broad statement)

And those of us who know how to shoot properly also know that most people are for more likely to kill themselves or a loved one than any intruder: it a LOT harder to shoot than it looks in movies.
