Why do councils insist on making them obvious targets..
Why not make the dam things roof wider and do away with the glass sides altogether.

just do away with the sides/glass on shelters in chavvy areas that get vandalised regularly. If they want to smash it up, then **** em' it's their method of transport anyway. I feel sorry for the old bid's that have to use the services that these sh1theads vandalise

afaik phone boxes are owned by BT - a plc.

so the govt. doesn't spend any of our taxes repairing them.
