Bloody hell!!! Almost choked on my lunch today. Rang Graham Goode as I'm after a strut brace for the scoob.....STI Alloy brace £299, STI carbon brace £499!!!!!!

£499.00, FOUR HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE QUID!!! For a strut brace!!!!!! I thought £299 was bad enough but when he said £499......

So, anyone bought a brace for reasonable cash????

Thumbs up

I bought the gorgeous carbon fibre STI strut brace (genuine part!) for £120. Do you think I paid too much?

It was second hand and is absolutely perfect. Despite what anyone says about the carbon brace, it does make a difference!

I went out for a test drive and noticed it straight away - really!

I love my cf sb best £120 I've ever spent

Scotty.

Mattski,

Was that new? If so how the hell can GGR charge so much? Maybe it's because people will pay

Scotty.

PS: I'm happy with mine 2nd hand as it is exactly as new

2nd hand (well hardly badly used unless crashed )

Yen value works out as something near £350 That's before shipping & VAT!

Scotty,

That was 2nd user but it is in excellent condition... rather pay £130 (which in some peeps opinions is way too much for a strut brace!) than the extortionate prices that GGR charge.

Matt

Mattski,

I'd never opened my bonnet so much in one day as the day I fitted my Carbon fibre strut brace

Puff,

It was actually removed from a friend of a friends car who was going to rally it and replaced it for a 3 piece brace. His explanation was if he crashed it was cheaper to replace 1 of 3 than 1 of 1.

Who was I to argue

Scotty.
