Question I want to brush up on my German

Hi

We're off to Germany for the WRC next month and I thought it might be wise to brush up on my German. I passed my GCSE in it, chuffin years ago and all I can remember is 'gegenuber dem bahnhof', now I can't see many of the stages being 'oppsite the railway station' hence my request!

As this is my first visit to Germany and I can't really see myself going back anytime soon, summat free, ie on the net would be ideal! Does anyone have anything they could recommend? I have googled it but didn't really find owt

Danke schon

Bob

Yeah, I reckon I could order a beer in any lanquage you care to think of, it's just a question of shouting loudly and slowly enough, coupled with the right hand movements obviously

I go to Holland with work and they're brilliant, you don't need any Dutch with them, I imagine Germany would be similar I just figure it's polite to at least try a little and it makes more sense given that I have a GCSE in it....just wish I had decent memory
