Angry Sky Tv Prices

Would just like to know what prices you guys are paying for sky tv as i think im being ripped off. I currently have all the movie channels and most of the sports ones, they have even signed me up for film4 which i didnt ask for and seem to be paying for. Basically i have about 90% of channels so just wondered how much everyone is paying?

I have also been told that they are planning on increasing the cost upto £48. How the hell can they ask this much for something which has trouble working/receiving signals when it rains. Bloody rip off merchants. Im not happy

If you're not happy, then you are free to leave!

The subscription costs are as per Sky's website.

The full ntl package is 49.50 and you don't get as many channels etc as sky, so Sky is still cheaper (just)

Say your leaving and they (S*y) will spend half an hour on the phone convincing you that you really, really NEED to watch S*y.

I ditched them ages ago as my Pace box started refusing to view BBC and STV (apparently some internal fault), and S*y wanted to charge me £60 to tell me the box was borked plus sell me another pos. I bought myself a decent sat system with a cam which can view all the FTA chans and more if needed. I feel so much better without their crappy service and the phone call cancelling my 'subscription' was worth it for entertainment value alone

Is that Milo Murdoch?

I pay £41 (was £40 until this month) and get a decent set of channels (I think it's the family package).

I have Sky+ and Subscribe to Movie world which is everything apart from Sky Sports which is mostly Sky Football and the one off subscription channels.

Cost £34 a month. I don't get to watch many movies as I spend a fortune on DVD but if I cancel Movies I'll have to pay £10 on top of the standard package for sky+ so that would be £29.50. So really Movies are only costing me £4.50

Cheers
Lee

Yep, Sky goes up again in Sept, I`m sure thats what the latest mailing said anyway.
We got a bit peeved with it too, so we sat down and made a note of all the channels we regularly watch and got the bill down to £34, we said we would phone up and cancel some channels, which Peter never did, so I done it instead and he hasn`t noticed yet....(he will when the direct debit tells him on the bank statement).

Just had the note to say my sky is going up a qui to £41 a month. As a footy fan though its well worth it as there will be 22 more live prem matches than last season.

Also 50 mins highlights on sat night but you can pick which team you want to see - excellent!

Simon.
