Good places to stay in Paris?
I'm taking the Mrs to Paris in Spring... 
We are looking for somewhere reasonable to stay that is within easy reach of the popular sights.
Looking for something around £100 per night, which I think gets us 3 star. Have done some searching online, but I would be interested in anyone's experiences (good and bad)

The Hotel Grand Champaigne costs around £100 B&B and is pretty central (2 min walk to Notre Dame)
rooms are small but clean enough - hotel staff a great though..

I stayed in a rather nice place near, umm, oh god, some conference center. Not exactly central though, about a 5 min metro ride to Notre Dame though, but I only saw it at night, on the way to a club.
