hi guys,

can anyone recommend and good gearbox recon place here in the midlands or brum even?

just had mine recon'ed and well.... its still ****e. wasted the money so looking for a recommend place that someone on here has actually used.

scoobyclinic up at chesterfield can do anything you want mate, rebuild it, upgrade it etc

Some of the uk's top tuners use tegsport for gearbox's

 

I with Joe Tegsport is where I'd go.

 

+1 and everything else is done while you're there so no messing going from one place to another

Teg sport is a million miles away! 3hrs drive. I wanted somewhere I could drive in and out without to much of a headache.

Thwaites Developement seems very near and so does Roger Bayliss..

Have you actually had your gearboxes rebuilt by these guys and did they have dccd on them. My current rebuilder can handle normal gearboxes just fine.. He just can't get his head around the dccd...

Since posting in September the cars been back to him 3 times and each time he just can't fix it. Just not willing to give a refund and keeps on wanting to fix it.. Just had enough now.

Speak to scoobyclinic mate, they just built a ppg sequential box and have rebuilt every type of gearbox subaru ever did

 

Yes my STi RA had DCCD , Thwaites rebuilt it no problem
