OK once again I have hit another brick wall with music coursework. I need a ballad to put some music to, I am allowed to use somebody else's ballad provided I have their permission to use it, but the music must be my own.

Now after several attempts of trying to right a ballad I have given up and come here in search of some help.

If anybody has any ballads which they would let me use for educational purposes I would be very grateful.

Have you thought of writing it with someone?

I heard that David Bowies technique is writing down a whole load of words on peices of paper and rearranging them Well, for some of his stuff anyway I think!

Sorry I posted it again in the wrong forum, I have since been working on the lyrics with a friend who is quite good.

And it's not slushy
