Angry Cost me £217 for a 36 mile drive!!!!

Week ago was going to Turnkey shop in Charing Cross, London; turned out to be THE most expensive car journey ever!

£100 fine as they allege I used a bus lane in Putney (really dont think I did/would - unless it was only to go round something turning right). No proof issued - I'm to assume I'm guilty...

£100 for a parking ticket since It seems am not allowed to buy two parking tickets. I didnt exceed the 2hr max allowed, but simply didnt have £8 in loose change when I arrived. So I returned with pockets like a fruit machine when the first one ran out...

£12 petrol as the blood car said it was only doing 9mpg

£5 for the congestion charge (somewhat impressed as I sailed through London never having ventured n by car for years!)

I will of course be protesing the fines - slimy little criminal that I am!

That is one creepy post since today whilst working in Camden I....
Got a £100 ticket for meter feeding
Made a mistake in a bus lane with camera's and so £100 fine
and crossed the "C" zone on the way home after turning off the A40
Plus fuel costs.

Mog

Diesel....I look forward to your pics on Monday.

Appalling behaviour Mog!

I actually had no concept of meter feeding before this. Anyway, see you in Wormwood Scrubs; I'll be the grumpy one doing the laundry

Unhappy Welcome to Ken's Vision of London

I work in London and it is like this all the time my team work in central and west London and the parking and driving is a real nightmare as for the traffic may be less but still as slow as ever as the bus lanes and alteration at the junctions slow you down. just never go south on Regent street as you never move because the buses under take you in the bus lane and fill up the junction I have taken 30 mins to do 100 metres at 2.30 pm on a weekday.

By the way you can not go into an empty bus lane to under take a vehicle turning right! You have to wait we have guys who have got tickets for being in the bus lane for 4 secs according to the video evidence from TFL.

By the way as they said above refuse to shop inside the Congestion zone like many others eventually they will get the message especially if when you phone companies you ask if they are inside it or not.

If you want a laugh go to TFL web site and look for some thing about improving the roads for the motorists who pay the congestion charge, i couldn't find any thing loads for the non paying cyclist etc but zilch for the people actualy paying.
TFL are very clever as a lot of the people who have to drive in central London for their jobs actually live outside Kens electoral boundary so can't vote him out yet have to suffer his decisions.
