Ludlow, Shropshire - is there anything to do there?
Anybody know the area? Potentially faced with festering there for about four or five hours during a weekday sometime over the next fortnight - is there anything around to keep me occupied? The roads into Wales look tempting, but i'm not sure i can spend all the time doing that. Anything else going on?

Tel, go their every year, some great pubs( goto the one at the bottom of the town just over the river bridge), a decent open market and the castle is well worth visiting. Not the best time of year to visit but its a very quaint town to look round- some serious money about as well.

There's also a great curry house there, just down from the library I think, that does garlic and chilli-pepper naans! Splendid.
If you do go to that pub by the bridge, get in some of their crisps - they're gorgeous.
(Can't tell I missed brekkie this morning can you?)

I lost my virginity in Ludlow, so there must be some good things about it?
Actually that is a bit of a lie, it was in a village just outside Ludlow, Stoke St-Milbrough(sp?)
But having said that it was a few years ago now, so things may have changed!!!

The posh restuarants are only good if your not very hungry !! You will need to go to the chippy after !
There are some really good places to eat though and not get ripped off.
Go to any of the pubs and get half decent ish food.
Just avoid the Raven, Rose & Crown, Nelson and thats about all the ruffest pubs there are really !
For a real good pint pop into the Church Inn which is right in the centre and have a pint of Red Eric !!! 5 pints of that and your anybodies !!
Worst thing about Ludlow is that everything winds up at 11pm.
