I Fell Over In The Bath Last Night !
I'm posting thia because I'm off work and bored
I don't know how it happened but last night whilst showering (stood in the bath type one) I managed to lose my footing. (Think I must have stood on some foamburst)
I fell over and landed very heavily on my knee. I knew straight away it was bad because as soon as I stood up (*stop reading now if you're squeamish*) blood was ousing out of about a 3 inch gash in my knee, and all I could see was white in between the flaps of skin. I thought it was bone but the nurse said it was some sort of "grissly" tissue.
Now, I usually faint at the mere mention of blood, but my first thought was I had to get downstairs as i'd left the grill on cooking my burgers Stupid thing to do I know but I assumed I'd be back downstairs in 5 mins.
Anyway, managed to get down and call someone to take me to hospital. Had 7 stitches and it now feels sore and numb Been off work today and for the rest of the week and so bored. Can't walk properly or drive !
Need a new bath aswell. Couldn't believe how sharp it was where it had cracked. I ran my finger along it and it was like a sharp knife ! No wonder it did so much damage !
Just a thought though - if i had passed out and not come round for a while, the grill could have caught fire and the whole house could have gone up in smoke. It could have been much more serious. I think there's a lesson to be learnt somewhere !
Glad I've got that off my chest and filled ten mins in !

Yoza, I stand in the bath to have a shower and my place is worth, well a fair few quid, sometimes have a wazz in there as well.
I bet you have a special room just to house your watches.
