I feel I should add, for those who may pounce on this without reading the article (God forbid

A fantastic article - good job he doesn't have a show on the BBC though - he'd be sacked off faster than someone having a 4-in-a-bed orgy.
"Gay Police Association". What the f**k is that all about? Do they specify how long the truncheons are? How many ribs are allowed down them? Whether to use spandex for the riot gear?
No wonder people take the pi$$ out of the Police these days; I feel so sorry for the decent, honest coppers who "joined up" to serve the community, only to get their sexual preferences dragged into the cause.
As for this police officer comparing the author to a nail-bomber... just another example of how out of touch the top law enforcement personnel are with society. He should be forced to resign on the spot. What's the saying again? "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but nails will never hurt?"
Saying that, the judge who commented on the cot-deaths the other day actually showed some common sense with his reasoning. Maybe there is some light at the end of the tunnel?
