Yeah, don't see why not. Pretty much range-bound in thin trading at the moment to be honest. My 4,400 prediction for year end is still on track, as is 10,000 for the Dow (smug moment).

Why d'you ask?

Well, I've been making a nice little amoumt each day on IGIndex recently. Today looks like I may make a loss I "sold" at £2 per point when it was around the 4380 mark.

So is your market interest a professional one, Tel? Or simply for pleasure/amusement like mine?

Right, well then, where can I find charts for daily FTSE 100 movements?

I'm after a web site that will show me a chart for the FTSE's movement on any given day.

Not sure mate i'm afraid, although i assume all the regular share-dealing outfits would provide that at a cost? How are you tracking a spread bet without that information then?!

IGIndex provides tick charts but what I'm after is some historical data that I can learn from. Kinda work out what "I could have made if" etc.....

try here , Hemscottnot sure if you can get the FTSE charts , but there is lots of info to be had,or here reuters

I think the market feels OK underneath ,it just needs to break 4400 and stay above . If it can break 4435 and 4450 then 4500 here we come .Just bear in mind that it's the silly season in the city with thin volumes so things can get pushed about quite easily .
And the Yanks will push the Dow over 10,000 (not sure if they will be able to keep it there )
Just my personal view , don't get too carried away

I'm long of futures and basically they are £10 a tick for each one you have, a tick being 4400 to 4401.

I've got a few as I work for a derivatives trading company.
