I'm looking for a quick favour, I'm buying something off ebay from a guy in germany and he doesn't do paypal, wants a bank transfer. No doubt to do it from my account will cost more than the value of the transfer (it's only 8.50euros!).
So if it's possible to do this transfer for free from a german account, I would be grateful. I will of course pay first by Paypal or whatever suits.
Cheers!

Not bad mate! Wish I was doing some money laundering, it's gotta pay better than what I'm doing now. Got any contacts to get me in?
What's the plans for the motor then, did you settle on a standard rebuild or go for the uprated? The sooner it comes out the better, the cold weather is upon us I can almost smell the snow on the way, donuts aplenty! No chance of doing that with a FWD car unless you're Colin McRae so the Scooby it has to be...
I'm actually contemplating going for the remap option myself with one of the group buys going at the moment (either standard ECU map or Link) and get the 3-port solenoid at the same time cos mine is the newer spec (i.e. crappier spec!) with 2-port as standard. Dunno if it's worth it though - I've only done about 400 miles in it over the last 2 months, so might just go for some 18s as the tyres will last about 4 years at this rate

Paul,
Only just saw this, but are you still looking for someone to help out? I have a German bank account and can arrange transfer if you want. Email me as per profile. I'm out at meetings for the rest of the day, but if it's not urgent I can deal with it tomorrow.

Hi mate,
I was just going to e-mail the guy tonight, but drop me a mail with the details of what's involved with the transfer and if it's easy enough I'll send you the cash to do the biz.
