Isn't it about time this joker and those also accused of similar charges also face charges of incitement to Racial Hatred ?.
If the guy was White, he'd be called a racist, not a freedom fighter.

He is a British National, and was born here, I don'th think Cuba is the right place for him. I just don't understand the mentality of someone who was born here, who's parents were born in Malawi, but swears allegiance to Pakistan (or wherever)

Who would take him ?. I think that he is obviously in a very small minority amongst his peers, but I think its questionable that someone can become (or claim to be)so close to their God and then look to murder innocent people, who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
In what name is this being done in ?. The Muslims I know always claim that the Religion is about peace, so why do they allow these radicals into the Mosques to aggitate people who are supposed to be there to worship.
You expect it from wacky fringe religious sects, but not the mainstream lot.

Dave,
Case has not been to court; all we know is what we have been told in the press. Seems unlikely he would have a good reason for having explosives in his house; however he is innocent until proven guilty.

The police have stated that they recovered explosives from his house. He is also a known associate of Richard Reid, self confessed al-qaida shoe bomber. They have been monitoring him for a year and wouldn't have risked the 'Your all a bunch of racist pigs' rhetoric from the Asian community unless they were convinced that they could get a conviction. These are such high profile cases that they just can't risk putting a foot wrong.
I agree innocent until proven guilty but it doesn't look good so far, for him or the innocent members of his community in Gloucester who will without doubt have to field some flack in one form or another for his crimes.
If he was intending to use or supply them, the target would be either people in this country, or an outward bound flight carrying British Nationals.
The chaps waiving a flag with his actions, but its not ours is it !.
