I use www.inkandstuff.co.uk for my Epson C62. Bought about 6 compatable cartridges so far and not had a problem.

I've had some cheap ones for an Epson C70, they came from SVP communications in Torquay, and were made by JetTec.

They were CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took me about half the ink to get 'em to print properly, and they still need cleaning every other print!

Complained to SVP, who said they'd replace 'em, but sent out all wrong ones.
CRAP product, CRAP service!

Avoid SVP, and JetTec

I've had a similar experience with substitute cartridges for an HP printer. They were the same price, but held twice the ink, which was appealing... except they wouldn't match the quality of the normal cartridges, without being on the max setting on the printer, which meant longer time to print each pic, and it used twice as much ink. So pretty useless really! Also smelled horrid.

I'm back on normal expensive HP ones.

Thumbs down

Agree with alcazar. I bought some 'compatibles' for an Epson Photo 830, nothing but grief. They eventually worked after wasting half the cartridge on nozzle cleaning, then stopped working again after about 2 or 3 prints. Total sh!te. Totally annoying waste of time.

Moral of the story is . . . don't scrimp, buy the genuine articles.

got to say, i buy and supply inkjet carts from choice stationery, and not had a single problem.

i cannnot tell the difference between these £5 jobbies and the £17 espon originals at all.

if you buy 4 carts, they work out well cheap, inc postage and vat, about £17 or so.

do it!

Echoing comments above, avoid Jet Tec cartridges - bought some for my Epson but couldn't get them to print properly at all!
