Ive got the 7250i and i know i had to active the WAP and Multimedia Messages. Bought the girlfriend the 7210 at the same time she also had to enable these. So maybe thats the reason perhaps?

chel, who is your provider?

I found the only way to set these things up if it's not right is to do it yourself. I tried to get cellnet to sort mine out but it took them 3 days

The above is for MMS settings which your other half will need in his phone.

Basically you need to locate the MMS setting area in your phone and put the right parts in the correct fields, all will become clear when you find where it is (look in menu, under phone then internet settings or something, just have a look til you find, if you don't have instructions).

I bought a V200 recently on Orange, unlocked it and then using the above put the cellnet MMS settings in and it works perfectly, none of the ring up, turn phone off wait 3 hours, blah, blah

go on vodafone live, can't you just click on your wap browser now/if the settings are correct?.

I have cellnet, it's just a case of going on the wap browser clicking downloads, then ringtones, then searching for desired tone.

I understand vodafone live is quite good for all this sort of stuff

Chelsie,

Can't help you with free tunes but I use my 7250i with my PC. Got a superb polyphonic scoobydoo tone from www.mobilefun.co.uk but cost about £3

If you have an infrared port on the PC just download Nokia pc_suit from Nokia.com

If you have not got infra red on your pc get a data cable, they usually sell for around £25.

Two things that bug me about the 7250i.
1. Can't send pictures directly via infra red.
2. They didn't put voice activation on it.

Thanks Lee
I miss the part on my old phone where I could save a tune that I composed and that way they are free.
This phone wont let you compose.

A lot off messing there must be an easer way surely, I don’t want to go back to my old phone just to get decent tunes.
