BooHoo, after 18yrs of paying tax, national insurance, and all the other cr4p that comes with towing an "employee" ststus line, i have finally broke free, and as from 6.30pm tonight am self-employed.
Its quite scary to say the least, with the commitments i have, but hey, the only people i have seen who have enough dosh, a good lifestyle and are actually enjoying themselves immensly are either very lucky or self-employed.
I'm not looking forward to heaps of paperwork and trying to get off my **** and bring some cash in, but it sure feels like a weight OFF the shoulders, and regaining control of ones destiny.
anyway, i would like to say to everyone have a great weekend and think of me crying.."what have i done............."

good luck BB, I spent 10 years self-employed then with commitments decided to get a job in january and some steady money, all going well till 2 weeks ago and got made redundant so now back self-employed.
You're right I fully subscribe to the risk=reward ethos, anyone whos been successful has put their ***** on the line at some point.
