Driving down Airport way today in Luton, nice dual carriageway, no houses or residential area, basically high verges on both sides.
Imagine my shock when i now see that the entire stretch of road is a 40 mph zone, from a national speed limit of 70 mph, thats a cut on no less than 30 MPH.[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] Just what the hell is going on. Other stretches of road are being downgraded in a similar fashion. Im just waiting for mobile speed cameras now to make a killing. Nobody at all was sticking to the 40 limit.
