B&O
Bang & Olufsen
Yes, very good phones however very expensive. If due to this you were to look at pre owned B&O phones I would tend to stay away from early BeoCom6000 as they were nothing but trouble but as far as I am aware they have ironed out the probs now.
The BeoCom2 (V G Norton)is a VERY good bit of kit but again expensive !!
TBH you dont get the full benefit of a B&O phone unless you have the house BeoLink'ed with other bits of B&O kit.

I have a Panasonic and absolutely hate it. The menu system is the worse I have ever seen on anything! It even has missing characters due to a crap LCD display; you therefore need to learn a different alphabet to navigate the menus!
This un is about 3 yrs old - they may be better now, but BEWARE, cos you will definitely need the book to even recover a speed dial! Totally un-intuitive...

It has been known for B&O to use some Philips components. there was a TV (MX5000 IIRC) that was equiped with a Philips tube ! Was a piece of shyte thou !
Components are shared allot out there but the sounds are always pure B&O which are and

Basic but do the job
And as technology makes them obsolete you can dump them in the knowledge that you havent shelled out a fortune on them.Thats the thing with technology, items become obsolete before they reach the end of their normal life expectancy.
