Madmax 2:the Road Warrior on Tonight

Arguably the best of the trilogies. Great action sequences and that beautiful Black Inteceptor- THE LAST OF THE V8's. Pity they had to blow it up. What a waste. Anyone got a pic of the Black beast?
Get the popcorn and a shandy for 10 oclock on Ch5.

One of my all time faves films.
Love the V8, the nitrous and the mad characters. Even love the start where the start sequence is taken over by the noise of the V8 screaming and the camera then pans back out of the air scoop Look for the truck driver wearing a crash helmet during the head on crash at the end of the film

It is, but Wez's crew use a BIG bottle of nitrous to motivate their 6-wheeler to catch the interceptor.
"Last of the V-8 interceptors ... a piece of history. Woulda been a shame to blow it up ..."
"Looks like I got myself some guzzoline, eh? V-8?"
"A feller .... a quick feller .... might have a weapon under there .... I'd have to pin his head to the panel ...."

One of my favourite films,SUPERB.
Yes, sadly a stuntman was killed, its in the chase at the end when a guy goes head over heals through the air.
The Interceptor is indeed at the Cars of the Stars museum, went to see it two years ago,its been restored to the mint condition it was in in the first film but still has the big fuel tanks at the back. Annorack on - Notice the blower is different in the 2nd film to the first as they had to take it off to allow the car to remain road legal during the promotion of the first film and couldnt find the same one again when making the second film. Neither ever actually worked

hadn't seen this in years, excellent film, but all the scary baddies seem really dodgy now..... like butt cheeks hanging out everywhere and gimps on chains!
