Question

I'm in the process of an FAC application. I have 150 acres of land near Tiptree where I shoot.

Any other shooters on here?

Cheers

Hi NeVeTa

Im just applying for FAC as well, unfortunately do not have 150 acres But do frequent various clay shoots and Bisley.

What guns are you applying for if its not a rude question.

Steve, I have a Beretta AL390 Lioness and a Mikuko MK70-Sporting.

Verming control, sounds like fun to me.

I've got a Theoben Rapid 17 MKII (currently at 12ft/lb when I get FAC go up to 40ft/lb)

Will also be buying a .22 Rimfire, and at some stage a centrefire.

My land has been inspected a licensed up to .222 rifles.

Went lamping on Friday with a friend who has an FAC. He brought along his centrefire. That night we bagged 17 bunnies and 1 fox.

Would be good for a couple of us to go one day, maybe do some lamping??

Cheers

Not bad for a few hours and plenty for rabbit pie - yum.

Would love to shoot some of the many rabbits round our way but the farmer will have none of it.
Also thinking about getting my DSC sometime next year, as this should help me get some stalking in this country. At the moment planning trip to US to a friends ranch to shoot 'exotic' deer, dove, turkey and quail.

Got shottys, but not got round to getting a FAC

Have 5 in total.

Used to do clays, and a bit of rough shooting but haven't been for a good few months.

Question

Does anybody fancy a dayout at the Essex Shooting club

They do a good event for 16 people?

Every now and then I organise a Saturday morning shoot. I was thinking it was about time I arranged another. Watch the southern section.
