Exclamation

... had to have a medical this morning (weight, height & blood presure), took 5 minutes max, my GP charges £63 for this highly skilled medical proceedure

£63 is a days work for me (not as highly paid as most on here )

I checked my height and weight at the gym last night (on their digital scales) and according to my GP I have shrunk and inch and lost 4 pounds over night. I think that may be due to the antique equipment he was using... the scales were 10 year old Boots own brand bathroom scales

Pah! Thats nothing. N Power are trying to charge my girlfriend for gas she never received at an address she doesn't live at anymore where the gas bill wasn't even in her name . £85+ for doing precisely nothing. Nice work if you can get it!

I just thought that I'd ring round other local doctors and see what they would charge. One said between £65 and £85, the other said £92.50 - It's is a f**king rip off, I am really shocked.

Cool

Most GP's charge a high price for signing a passport application in the hope that you will go elsewhere as their clinics are already oversubscribed with ill people.

As for the medical. How much does a solicitor or accountant charge?

Why would you go to an accountant or solicitor for a medical?
