Good Home wanted for 8yr old Pedigree Boxer
#1
L+G's,
I am sad to have to say that I need to find a good home for my Beautiful Boxer dog .
My 2.5yr old son has developed an allegy to him (and I can hardly ask the wife to put my son on the market...)
Therefore if anyone knows of somewhere that can give a simply beautiful dog a loving and caring home - please get in touch with me.
He is a pedigree with many awards from dog shows where his breeder showed him as a puppy. He is brindle and white and 8 yrs old. He has a fabulous temperament and is happy amongst children and other dogs. Cats he finds amusing but do make him act a little like Rambo (as in 'Look, Im bigger than you'.... until they swipe him one and he runs a mile!) Would not suggest letting him loose around very small children as he is not a light dog and does not know his own strength (which is considerable) - has been known to knock them flying completely by accident!!!
He loves lots of fuss and attention and really is a big softy. He will protect his owner if needed (so if you come home drunk and the wife has him asleep on the bed - beware!)
I cannot say enough good things about him and I am very sad I have to make this post but Im afraid my sons health must come first.
Thanks all.
Mak (the sad...)

Really sad news. How is your son affected? We've got 4 dogs- 2 boxers and my son is allergic to them if in contact and doesnt wash his hands after (as boys do!). We've got no carpets in the house and keep the dogs in one area most of the time and it works fine. Would take him in a minute but probably be divorced in two!

gutted.
I had 2 boxers (well my parents did, technically one's mine but when they moved to Devon so did he!). All of a sudden after 18 months together, on Xmas Day they just turned on each other and couldn't be in the same room. Sadly, Trudie (Lugs) had to be re-homed she had already been a rescue dog before we got her.
So I know how you feel, it's like no other feeling.
I'll ask my folks if they want another!
