Anyone see Blair on Newniight last night?

Who saw it?
Being interviewed by Paxman, he looked like a nervous employee talking to his boss.
Anyone who didn't know who he was would've said Paxman was a country leader, not him.
He was asked why we may be going to war - strangely he didn't really come up with anything convincing. Impression you got was anyone who makes weapons apart from UK/US will be "dealt with"
He's becoming as scary as Bush. Very worrying.
The audience comments of, Councillor of Texas, Vice President of the States and Bush's LapDog were amusing though. Was goodt to see him squirm.

Paxman or Blair a ******?
Worked with Paxman for a week, he was blunt and does not bear fools easily but not a bad bloke. Damn fine interviewer, never intimidated, reallylearns his background on the subject in advance, not like some!
Interviewed Blair three years ago @ No 10 with the interview being used at a national conference - the time of the fuel strikes. The questions where supplied well in advance, only spoke about what he wanted to closely monitored by his spin head Doc who's name i cannot remember. Not a fan of Blair

I'm pretty sure the final question/discussion that was put to Blair was a 'plant'. Blair's answer seemed too rehearsed and allowed him to finish off his statement very nicely and perfectly in time with the end of the interview.
The whole of the preceeding discussion saw him squirm and appear rather uncomfortable at times. His reaction to the final question was such that he knew what was about to be asked.

i watched him and like his strong 'no holds barred' view to terrorism.
He summed it up nicely. If these nutters get their hands on chemical/biological/nuclear weapons then we are in the firing line.
Better to be wise before than wise after the event.
It is only a matter of time before these maniacs 'do us' like they did the US and perhaps it might be worse.
Dont understand why this country doesnt understand this apocolyptic threat. He does and i do. He knows that you will never appease these nutters with words so take the fight to them.

mate,
there's none so blind as those that will not see.
coincidentally, they are the same people that wring their hands and seek blame after the chickens come home to roost.
as ever, you can't have it both ways...

I think we have forgotten 9/11 and Bali and think it wont happen to us.
We are too pre-occupied with arguing about doing nothing and letting the chickens come home to roost.
As you say, this country wants to wait till we get nuked before blaming someone. At least Blair is showing true leadership on this issue than ***** footing around.
It just doesnt go away and no good burying your head in the sand as half this country want to do.
I see this thing as a long-term battle of epic proportions.
Probably the world has never been so dangerous.

Blair: "Look, y'know, Saddam is an evil dictator and has weapons of mass destruction, so we have to bomb him to bits"
