I've got the 1MB link and somedays it is really really slow. Other days i run a speed test and it is feckin awesome....i get a 15 ping on most BF1942 servers

I've got a list of alternate proxy servers from around the country for NTL which if i find that my connection is going slow i enter a different one (but one that is still fairly local) into I.E and that normally fixes the problem. Cos you'll find that your local p.server sometimes gets its knickers in a twist. Leave it a day and then switch back to my local one.
