Hi,

I've been having some problems with Nokia Data Suite 3.0a, Win2000 and my 5110 and I'm looking for some help.

When using the NDS software, it constantly disconnects from the phone and has trouble reading the SIM.

When I try to use dialup networking I get a number of errors. These include, no answer, or modem not connected. Sometimes it will ring the other modem breifly, then disconnect. I managed to get one (1) sucessfull connection in about 30 attempts!! Sometimes when it does ring through, it only rings the other number for about a second then drops the line.

Has anyone else used this and do you have any tips and getting the **$£@1! thing to work correctly?? It's driving me mad!!!

Is the 5110 compatable with the NDS?

I've never tried using the DS with anything lower than a 6110.

Yes, it's compatible with all 51xx models as well as 61xx.

Have you had any problems with it? Does it work for you???

I have used it with my 8210 on Win2000 without any probs. I did have a bit of trouble using it as a modem under win2000....worked fine under win 98

I thought the 51xx phones, didn't have a data facility. To use dial up networking you need a 61xx phone.

Could be wrong!

Yes, the 5110 does have data capability as well, as per the website;
