Did anyone else read about the chap who was sent a fine through the post for not filling in his Statutory Off Road Notification ?

Apparently the chap was a bit of a historian, and he wrote to the DVLA...

He informed them that since the law had never been repealed, he asserted his right to Trial By Combat, to the DEATH, and asked the DVLA to appoint their champion.

As far as I know he hasn't had a reply yet, as the DVLA are "considering their legal position".
