Goddamn (certain water company based in Anglia)

Putting new pipes in outside our offices - and the contractors have decided to put down pedestrian covers over the hole - all well and good, but the hole is in our driveway, on the way in this morning, the scoob did an impression of a bulldozer and pushed the covers away - leaving the hole opened, it was only luck that the 2 back wheels did not fall down! Spoke to the contractor about it and he said "get a smaller car" and the "i didnt put the covers down, but it looks like they are only pedestrian covers"
What happens if my scoob falls down the hole, can I sue?

Sorry, I should explain more, the driveway is not blocked, you just have to drive over the pedestrian covers which do not look strong enough to hold a car and as I said, were moved by my scooby today! I am now scared to leave work in case (normally I can't wait!!)

Could also have a word with your Building Supervisor. If you can't get into work, due to these covers, you can complain. Suggest that you stay at home until the car park is deemed safe.
I had to do this at my last job. Right at the entrance of the car park they decided to stick a huge sleeping policeman. So large in fact that I could not drive my Zed over them without grating the bottom of the car...(so it was about 6" in height! ) I complained that there was no way I was bringing my car into this car park unless they were willing to pay for any damages. You could see the divots I was grinding out of the bumps.
They then reduced the height of the bump so that I could just about get over it, providing it was at the slowest the car could go.
