Question

Hi All,

Looks like Im gonna have to make a swift exit from my job soon(probably whether I like it or not) so I thought Id best brush up my CV.

Just wondered if anyone had any decent examples of CVs either their own or ones theyd been sent or whatever, pref IT related. Probably best if you delete the personal stuff though!

Email to profile if you have any, thanks

Andy

Not sure of your situation or these guy's reputation in the IT world - but if you're needing work we brought our scoob from the owners of:

http://www.planit-recruitment.com/

Anita and Mark - She has a shiney new Prodrive Sti 7 and Mark has a TVR

There was also a thread on here a few weeks back, couldn't find it on search, but if you have a flick through you might find it - I took the advice on there and got myself a new job, so it must work

Good Luck!

I have a mate's & I'm off to see the "originator" on Friday

Well impressed & a shed-load better than Mark's (sorry m8)

However, it helps to have content to put in

Its good enough for me to want to take a trip to London & spend a few quid getting it prepared.

Went to see a specialist CV person on Friday - not cheap but first meet is free.

However, its not only a CV that she's doing for you but a whole interactive interview technique based on your CV - essentially she gets the best and most marketable stuff, from you, & together its discussed and you end up with something that should be head & shoulders above what most people can come up with.

It may not be perfect, but it is noticeable at first view and different enough to get you put in the possibles rather than the "& another " box. The content itself is well researched & considered and rehersals are made agains the stuff you put in the CV against intereviews & techniques.

Not for everyone perhaps, but for me whose previous interviews consisted of "can you read a map? can you ride a bike? can you control other bikers?" then its going to be a worthwhile exercise.

If interested, email me & I'll let you have her email addy. Based in West London.
