Sits in the oddment bin in the top of the dash on my MY99.
Runs fine with the lid shut - when I hear the warning alarm go off (less than 500 metres to camera), I pop the lid open to check the lights.
I don't use around my local area as I know where the cameras are. Come into it's own when out and about.

Interested in the grp buy.
Wondered what experience others have had?
Does it have to be installed by a fitter or is it easy to do yourself?
Cheers

Just plug it into your *** lighter, pop the GPS unit under a windscreen and put the geodesy where you can see it (using the supplied bracked). Done!
Haven't got one but my mate has, he's taken out his cup holder and put it in there.

No its a crap and pointless purchase. It relies on a database on the net that needs to be constantly updated by yourself.
It takes the police less than 15 minutes to take a camera out of a Gatso and put it into a dummy Gatso thus making it live.
Geodesy has no knowledge of this.
A good detector like the Snooper815 that I use lets you know exactly which boxes are live and which are dummies.
Between my home and work...approx 5 miles...I have to go through 5 Gatsos, 3 are dummies.
Geodesy would be no help to you.

<500m from camera. isn't that a bit late?
what sort of cameras do these things work on? just the fixed locations by GPS? so a police man with gun on bridge would be un noticed?
also...
what r those blue lamposts with what looks like cameras on? someone told me they were traffic master and not digi cams?

Molds, I think you can have the distance at which the audible warning starts adjusted.
The visual warning starts at 1km (or is it 1 mile).
The standard settings work fine for me, even with the lights hidden away.
