It looks like the sort of school I wish I had gone to, all the girls were georgeous, and whats more, some of them are even better looking now than they were then, that doesn't happen in real life does it? all the girls I know just get older, not better looking.

I'll second that
I remember it was exactly as described, a school for 'gifted' people (who had all been expelled from various schools for being too rebellious/arty, whatever)
One of the people I knew from there (showing my age) went on to become Hans Zimmer the Hollywood film composer

Slightly worrying - we're watching the program and my wife reckoned she knew most of the people, and had possibly been out with one of them.
Uncle Buck - did you used to go to the ***** that were quite popular around that time in Farnham? I think they were at a big hotel (Potters?) on the Farnborough road....
