Bond....Skyfall tonight
Have to say,I'm a Bond obsessive.Yes,Connery was the best bond BUT,Daniel Craig has overtaken him imho
Anyway, going to pop out later, get a few beers for later and enjoy.Again! (ITV2 at 9 btw ,lol)

Totally agree about the choice of *****.
I love Daniel Craig as Bond. Back to the badass character that Fleming had always written him as, and not some cartoon parody, he had sort of become. But that's what's great about the different 007s - you get the one relevant for the times. ...Sort of like when Doctor Who regens. lol
Casino Royale was fabulous - very dark (as Bond films go). Plus Chris Cornell's 'You Know My Name' and the iconic 007 beginning was awesome. Talking of which, it's high time they start using more silhouetted naked ladies in the awesome, arty front ends (just like they used to ).
Not so keen on QoS and SF (the stories were a bit meh).
Looking forward to Spectre, though...

Skyfall is good right up to the ending which then lets it down massively. Casino Royale is the best Bond film to date and Daniel Craig the best Bond due to his role being portrayed as it should, far more aggressive. I'm also looking forward to Spectre.

and to think, they had anti daniel craig websites, when he was announced as the new bond - I wonder how many have changed their view (probably UK-ipers)
I thought Casino Royal was fantastic - and looked like a proper
film at last, everything was spot on, not least the cinematography (before that they looked like "made for TV" film drama's)
QoS was pretty crap, not Daniel Craig's fault, it just had an unintelligible plot, and Skyfall - mmm, a worrying return to populist twee

I sure hope - after the much needed brand reboot - it doesn't 'lazily' slide back to silliness. Like lasers from the sky and parasurfing tidal waves in tuxedos... (That particular last Brosnan film was ludicrous... Hence said reboot).
