Any BT engineers on here?
Rant on.
Mother in law is 86 and needs her phone, we call her all the time checking on her. Around six weeks ago her phone/line started playing up so we bought a new phone. Nothing changed so we contacted bt to get an engineer to find the fault(you always get through to someone in India FFS) so far we have had SIX engineers to the house over the past few weeks and none can get the phone to work on a permanent basis, they get it to work but it lasts just a few hours before the fault happens again. Tonight I get another call from India telling me that the fault was at the exchange so whilst he was on the line we tried calling mother in law, guess what, yes, the line wasn't working!!! So that was attempt number seven!! WTF can we do, we just don't know who to turn to. Any useful suggestions welcome. Oh BTW we thought about getting her a mobile but TBH she wouldn't be able to fathom it bless her, 86 and all that.
Rant off
