No thanks.

Now, whatever the motivations were behind this program, the result was just too easy. A five year old could catch this lot out.

When they were having their get-together in the conference room at the hotel with Nigel Farage I kept expecting some old biddy to shout 'House'.

The core of this party (i.e. Nigel Farage and those close enough for him to keep them in check) may have some valid points to make, but the party as a whole has so many misfits and miscreants attached to it only a fool could see or want them in government.

A circus freak show or a bad 1980's sitcom? Could be both.

It was a pretty poor show sadly! Decided to watch it for myself as I knew the SN NSR Tories would post how sh1te they were regardless of how shi1te they actually were.

Oh well, it was worth a try to have a party to challenge the utterly corrupt 'big two', a pity they don't seem up to it!

I should just vote the same way as the last three elections and not bother although as I live in a marginal seat I am going to vote Labour as we need rid of Cameron if nothing else! That and I won't be here to deal with the mess of a Miliband led government anyway ... yeah Labour it is

I will say that the documentary is far from the sole reason for this and I do wonder how much we are being manipulated by the media who of course have a vested interest in maintaining the status quo as if they get Cameron back in... no chance of any Leveson implementation meaning they can continue to do as they please!

It's a shambles to be honest!

Put any party under the spotlight and they will all fall apart under scrutiny

I really thought better of you.

You have fallen for the ruse of TWO TV programmes which set out to do one thing: put people off voting for UKIP.

What you are saying is that programmes like "Skint" show the reality...?

I think not.

It's just another scummy Lab/Con trick.

....That collection of clowns

I some sense I agree, I don't like the proposed turnover tax for example, and I also agree UKIP are promoting more "lefty" ideas to try and get the northern Labour vote. This is practical politics but I cant say I'm a fan, but you cant do anything without votes and leaving the EU is so fundamental I can forgive a lot.

As to the media, I didn't watch the program because you knew before it even started what its agenda was. I thought you were a great believer in the adage that the media is definitely lying to you, but seem to swallow an highly edited version that portrays party members in a bad light. Have you compared the portrayed opinions and actions to those of Labour, Tory and Lib Dem supporters? Anyone can find embarrassing examples if that's your aim!

You usually seem to at least give these things some thought, but this time you appear to have just given up and uncritically swallowed a load of drivel. Some things are worth fighting for....

I'm not sure what all the fuss was about tbh

They all came over as no better or worse than any local councillors - I thought Trevor was quite dignified, and the couple - pretty well too

Exactly. All lying ba$tards saying what they think people want to hear.

The country would be totally screwed with a Labour government (again) Cameron isn't that much better and Nick Clegg is just a total joke.

I like a lot of things UKIP stand for, getting out of Europe and sorting out immigration being the main ones.

It wasn't so much this programme or any one news report etc. just all of them together I guess. As I said I don't bear them any ill will as a party, I just think they are not ready and have needed to get big too quickly.

I am not really going to vote Labour, I will just not vote as usual. Not much has changed with the revelations about Rifkind and Straw today.... still pigs at the trough!

This thread is too funny

At least Warren sticks to his guns, some others on here are more confused than a blind lesbian at a fish market.

You could do the same with ANY mainstream party.

How much do we hear of the Labour councillor from Wales who claims to have been abducted by aliens?

It's called having no one to vote for or being a 'floating voter by force' I guess.

Isn't that is how it is supposed to be though, you listen to what they say as they campaign and vote accordingly? If everyone had decided who to vote for three months before the election there would be no point.

Anyway we can't all be like you who would doubtless vote for a chimp if someone stuck a blue rosette on it!

what I thought what was both amusing and a bit sad at the same time

were the two builders trotted out - to complain about losing their jobs to foreigners, who god forbid worked until 9,10,11 o'clock - when they themselves, knocked off at (wait for it) 4.30pm

I think they were labouring under the massive misconception, that a vote for UKIP was a vote for knocking off at 4.30pm

when in fact a vote for UKIP is simply a vote for them having to work to 9,10,11pm instead

bless!!!
