Default Detailed Clio 182

Quick detail on the daily whip for those that may be interested.

Wash, clay, light 205, glaze and finished in supernatural.

Clio 182 full fat with both cup packs, just clocked on to 10k miles.

Absolutely love it and without doubt the best (most fun) front drive chassis ive ever driven. Its so much fun it doesnt inspire me to build my Impreza lol

Nice job there Frayz,I have to admit the clio would be my pick of the hot hatches given the chassis and torque produced from the engine in the lower revs.
Have you been brave enough yet to get it tripod mate?

Great cars, shame about the seating position! One of the best colours Renault do as well... Inferno!

I'm attack a friends Focus ST tomorrow. Full detail and machine. Just hope it's not too hot.

Cheers guys

Lol, i can tripod it everywhere. Such a capable little car. You'll be amazed at what you can keep up with... and in many cases seriously outrun in one of these.

That looks stunning

I know exactly what you mean, i had alot of fun in a phase 1 172 a few years back... I recall a time when i stopped at a set of lights beside two chaps in a modified golf 1.8 turbo, the passenger rolled down his window, pointed, laughed then proceeded to shout "its a 1.8 turbs bruv.....", as the light turned green he launched it then slowed down as he realised i hadn't taken the bait, basically we ended up side by side on an empty dual carriageway..... The look on their faces at the next roundabout was priceless

That looks like a minter.

I bought one of these last week to use as a daily drive, they're fun little cars. Mine's no where near as clean and tidy as yours though. I'm not supposed to be modding it, but I'm already looking at getting a YozzaSport exhaust, coilovers, polybushes etc... I also want the RS Tuning box, seems like a handy little tool that lets you datalog as well as upload/download .cal files. I hate generic maps, but for the money it's worth it. I'm thinking of uploading the standard map and comparing it to the modified one you get with it using WinOLS to see where the maps are, then once I've figured out what maps are where, I can tweak them to what I want.

Still smells new inside, i kid you not lol.

Its covered 500 miles between each of its last 4 MOTs and only 320 miles in the last year. I got it about 2 months ago now and have stuck 2k miles on it

Still probably the lowest mileage 182 left in the country according to the clio forum. I dont care though, i love it and am going to enjoy using it

Great little cars these! Now i know why you are taking so long with the project. You are spending way too much time behind the wheel in this.

Whose 135i is that?

They are great little cars - my wife has one following a link on here for the Lookers Chester deal for a white Cup 200 with black alloys - looks gorgeous and I have to say it feels as fast as my Scooby in some respects - the chassis seems really planted and it really is point and shoot

For a rear-seat passenger the ride is not quite so comfy lol!
