Guy that bought my scoob sent me a video!
Hello, thought I would share this with you guys, I put my car up on PH on 14/01/11. A guy came to look at it on the 15th and told me he was looking for an Impreza for a mate in France. Apparently Imprezas over there command a massive premium in Euros.
The following Saturday another silver classic turns up in my drive with 2 French guys and the guy that came to look initially - inspection complete, money passed over off they went! Monday I got this video. They turn up at my Gaff 5 mins 30 in and he gives it some beans right and the end of the vid! Enjoy....

And I thought I loved my scoob. Feel like I've let the side down by just paying the guy I got mine off and legging it. Maybe its a continental thing. As above, sounds great.

because there a only a few Impreza availiable in France ( also Germany/Austria ) the ones who are for sale have a lot more miles and ask for around € 10.000,- .....
most of them are blue some silver a few black but i have never seen a mica red

how do they re register it in France, do they have to have fog lights taken out and head lamps painted yellow?

never heard that the french cars may not have foglights !?
if they need to have yellow lights ( i am not sure if this is mandatory or just cause it was always like this ... ) they do not paint their headlights they just change to yellow H4 bulbs
