Default Engine clean-keeping my hand in :)

As many of you know, I do like to spend a bit of time polishing
Well since the scoob went, I dont spend that much time cleaning and polishing but as mrs swiss has her scoob, I decided to give her engine bay a good going over

Still haven't lost the knack

Engine bay before shots

Using the normal routine as detailed here

http://www.polishedswiss.com/#/engine-bay/4529645625

Gave it a good soak, then coated it in Meguiars degreasant and Gunk foaming degreaser followed by several brushes to loosen the dirt and grime

Then a really good soak with the jetwash, mopped up the excess, engine on to dry it out for 10 minutes and then the aerospace 303 protectant.

Took her car out for a 10 minute run to seal the protectant, wiped down the excess, polished the shiny bits, dressed the radiator fixings and stand back to admire

Gratuitous after shots

She seemed to be happy

I think you just waited for the sun to come out LOL. That is definately a night and day difference. Might get some dressing products for my engine bay, but when I will get to use them I don't know.

She is running an Autobahn 88 FMIC. She recently got 345bhp and 352 torque so not bad

It was in a right mess and the reason for cleaning the engine was because she has a small leak somewhere, so a clean engine is easier to diagnose

supply the water...wow your generosity knows no bounds

Unless the water is flavoured with malted hops, grain and yeast
