Default newbe

hi all, just thought i would post a few pic's of my new family car (well about as family as i get anyway)

i'll start with a few pic's of my old car

vw golf GTI

i spent a lot of time and even more money on it with the show piece being the air ride for extra lows

but as i have a baby due in 7 weeks it was time to sell up and get a 4 door i know i would loose so much money but needs must (owed me 11k sold for 7k) but hey thats modding

but so on to the impreza well i did wont a UK STI PPP but being that im only 22 (3 yrs NCB) insurance was a big thing so i picked up a 2003 WRX SL PPP with full leather its done 100k but runs sweet as a nut and with FSH, the car is totally standerd, and im in too minds to keep it that way as next year i would like a STI

so heres a few really bad pic's will add some better ones as soon as

thanks for reading

Welcome to the club

You dropped on getting an SL and one with PPP! You know for insurance purposes that the PPP wasn't standard don't you? It was a performance pack from Prodrive which bumped the power to 265hp. I think it was something like £1,500 extra.

I've just compared it to mine when I first picked it up. Your windows look darker and i'm sure your car looks a bit lower too although that could be down to the picture quality

Nice GTI too, give it a few months and I bet you'll be looking at coilovers for this one

and the windows so have a really light tint on them

i think it looks like a 4x4 lol but then im used to the golf lol

all im looking to so is drop it 35mm on some sti wheels maybe sti spoiler or de-spoiler then save my cash for a nice low millage sti next year

The place I got mine from is no longer trading but HT Autos do a good one, they are often doing group buys on here too. It really changes the front end

I'd like to lower mine, just funds don't allow at the moment.

Enjoy it mate.

Welcome. You won't keep it standard for long, but if you want an STI just do minimal mods and save the cash.
