Kenya Wedding Piccies.......may not be 56k friendly!
ok here are some piccies from my wedding last week in Kenya.......not in any particular order !
totally wonderful place for a wedding.
blue sea, sunshine......palmtrees etc.
recommend it to anyone.
we stayed at the Flamingo Beach Hotel a little north of Mombassa. Part of a few hotels owned by African Safari Club, www.africansafariclub.com
if some do look that great in quality its probably because they are ones which the people at truprint have converted from a normal film negative into an electronic piccy.
the maasai dancers made the day so different. everyone in the hotel woke up and took piccies of us walking through the hotel grounds and many of them actually joined and watched the ceremony.
Will try to do some from the safari later, another amazing experience and well worth a visit to Kenya for if you get the chance....

Well done mate, great pictures there.
You may recall from your earlier thread, that I too got married in Kenya, at Nyali Beach Hotel, six years ago.
Pictures brought back some memories.
Best wishes for the future to you both.

No worries Steve, have you checked your settings in your profile in case that has something to do with it?
Look for this under the edit options section:
Visible Post ElementsYou have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)
You may not have the last box ticked.

Steve, congratulations and what a small world. I've just come back on Sat from 3 weeks in Kenya.
Started off in Nairobi, then 2 nights camping at Lake Nakura, 4 days full board in a Lodge at Masi Mara game reserve and 10 days at the coast at Watuma and Malindi. I Was in Mombasa on sat to catch flight home.
Me and my girlfriend got engaged their last week and are hopeing to get wed their late next year. Did they sort out all the wedding plans for you?
What an ace place for a wedding!!

I climbed mount kenya last year for charity and thats pretty special too. Standing at the bottom your on the equator and its +35 degrees and at the top its -25 degrees and you are still on the equator. Go figure that one out.......I guess it could have something to do with it being over 5,000 metres high though

lake nakaru was fantastic. we then went up to the lake nakaru lodge for lunch.
wot a place and wot a view !!
we then did the mara buffalo camp in the mara. must put some safari pics up on here soon !!! keep threatening !
we looked at staying at watamu....the company we went with had a hotel there as well.....
where did u stay in watamu ?
yes, all the wedding plans / details / paperwork etc etc were sorted out for us and for a mere £440 compared to fees and stuff for a wedding over here.
where will you go back to for the actual wedding ? did you book via a normal tour company like thompson / kuoni or a specialist kenya / safari one ?
