Nice prices too unfortunately . Still, they are quality motors and he runs a 430bhp scoob himself, so knows what he's talking about!

I agree. A few years ago, I phoned, enquiring about an STI he had at the time, and when it came to the crunch, he wouldn't tell me the price. Point blank refused.

He told me to come and see his cars, and I wouldn't be disappointed! 200 miles each way to have a heart attack at the prices?!

I've no doubt his cars are mint, but do they really justify throwing good money after bad, in a market that is distinctly a buyers? I think not.

Turns out his STI was 35-40% dearer than most places at the time

I bought one from there and I know I paid too much. I was fine at first as it only had 42,000 miles on it (MY93 WRX) and everything was absolutely immaculate. I now see the prices these things are fetching and it scares me! Need to keep it for a long time to justify the price

Thats exactly the problem Russboy....

You may deem the car to be worth the asking price, but can you re-sell it on a similar pricing structure? No.

Almost as soon as you buy it, you are 2, 3 or 4 thousand pounds upside down on your finance.
