Might consider adjustable shocks, any advice? I like to go off road a bit - if they can go realy high that would be the sh*t.
PPP next - insurance willing - I'm missing the aggresion and UK300 headlights just to make it damd ugly
I'll get a better picture of the rear glass, the pimped out windows really do tie the rear together.
Rear skirt would look 10x better with mesh in the holes ala BMW. I'll test my sheet metal skills next day off.

Oh for the wheel arches. This one's going to last me at least 3 years, plenty of time for Subaru to make us happy.

Is there such a beast... does it wear flares?

Looks the biz! Like you, I love the "tint pimp".
If only they produced it with the four doors extended wheel arches.

Jack,
That is the nicest looking MY01 I've set eyes on....... The wagon MY01, looks much better balanced than the saloon (IMHO!)...
Post some more when you get the other mods...

before/after???
This is my MY98, and I just love it so, but if I had to change now, I should go for the 5-door WRX!

Not for me I`m afraid, prefer the pre MY01.
Jack,
Beware the WRC event in November, the car parks will remove those `extensions`. Find a spot on the black stuff, if plod allows. Unfortunately it`s going to be crazy with such a confined route
Good luck with the proposed mods.
Cheers

All planned, lips are coming off and big mudflaps are going on. Ride height should be the same as my old MY98 and that went places it shouldn't have.

Jack,
I own a silver wagon over here in the States, and I was wondering if you could give me some info on the spoilers for the wagon. I like your car, it looks great. I was just wondering about the installation, and the clearance over speed bumps and parking blocks? Also, do you think the rear waist spoiler would look good on the wagon, or be too much. Sorry to bother you, but we just don't get those parts here in the states, so I will never get to see them in person. Thanks for your time.

I'm yet to take a close look at the installation but they look tacked on so shouldn't be difficult. Ground clearance is still way acceptable. I left the waist spoiler off as it may have made the car look a bit to cluttered.
I think part numbers and details of the spoilers are on the uk subaru web site at

There's a scoobynet member who'll do plates in any size you like, can't remember his username though, sure someone will know.
My plates were a present and they can't remember the number of the place they got them from.
