There's plenty of luggage space Chris, so I don't see why not!

Cool

Mossman

Didn't happen to be out and about on Saturday did you, sure I saw the new motor parked out side the pub on the corner in Bev (early drinking before a day at the races ) or one Identical (unlikely)
Looked sweet, and sounded equally well.

yet more commision westfield owe me!

I can soon get that up to 230BHP for you Jon, once you get a bit bored with just 185BHP.

Very nice!

Top tip, get some sidescreens, above 100MPH your head will blow off otherwise! LOL

Mm... very nice - bright yellow with VX engine, the best spec possible

I hope it's in better condition than mine; I took it into Pro-Tune on Saturday for a check-over and to have the carbs adjusted. Today I learned that both carbs are ancient and knackered, and I'm looking at £600+ to have them replaced

Should run well when it's all sorted, of course, and at least with this week's weather it's not like I'm missing out on much

Hi all! Thanks for all your nice comments!! Thorpe old boy, yes it was me outside the pub in Bev on Saturday!!!! It is amazing how easy it is to be spotted in this car! Something to do with the colour and the noise, oh.... the noise!!

Scott, good to hear from you, yes indeed roll on Cat 03 but I think Rum and I will be in his more civilised form of transport!

John! 185bhp is more than enough at the mo ta! But 230bhp sounds v tempting - can you enlighten us and what needs to be done for that sort of power? Is the company QED any good? (have been reading some old CCC articles on VX tuning!). Ur so right about the sidescreens, I have nearly lost two pairs of Prescription Oakleys (damn expensive) and a baseball cap! Where do I get them from m8?

Sorry to hear about the carbs Andy. Give me a ring mate - 01482 673544 ok!?

All the best and I can't wait to a Cadwell Track day - anyone know some dates!?!?

its pretty easy to get 230BHP. You need diferent cams, diferent engine ignition map, rejet on the sidedraughts (you do have twin 45's?) and cosworth big end bolts cos your gonna rev it to 8500rpm!

QED are a good company, i cant remember who did our rally engine bits, i'll find out and let you know!
