Mossman originally made me aware of Mikes new baby, the scooby roll cage, 1st saw it at Croft and had to have one. Against all the odds Mike achieved a miracle by pushing the manufacturer ahead of schedule and I travelled to Hull today for supply and fit of the cage along with a fantastic set of harnesses to boot ! A superb, well engineered and thought out product that were I to keep the car for three years would cost me approx £0.70p per day, an excellent price to put on my safety let alone the re-sale cost of the said products when I come to sell the car ! Thanks once again Mike, a true gent and hope all continues well.
Mossman fed me well again at his place of work with a fish and chip lunch, personal trainer Mossy....not a few favours now owed to you kind sir.....re-book the MOT and get down to mine for the camping trip
Many thanks to you both once again.

....further question mike cos I cant get the website working - must be the Mac cos it used to work on the PC - Is the cage FIA approved?? I only ask for club hillclimbing as it doesnt need homolgation papers for roadrallying....any chance of a spec sheet of the cage and the price list??

I hope you have OK'd this with your insurers Chris. One of the reasons this cage was designed was to get round the problem of insurance companies poo pooing road cars with rollcages installed. Thats why this cage was designed to be a quick install/remove jobbie to make it suitable for track days where you go off the public highway.
I had a look at Stefs setup when at the ring, looked great. I did wonder back then whether stef actually had that install OK'd with his insurers. If you're in a big shunt and in hospital you could find yourself without cover because if your taking a risk and thinking you could remove the cage prior to an inspection, you may not be capable of doing that.
You guys arent forgetting all this i hope?

John,
I have written confirmation from my insurers that the cage is OK to be in the car, no further additions etc...maybe they see it as a safety devise well worth accepting ?
Good point though.

Did you get the picures? I am having trouble getting them up on the BBS for you. Mossy cant do it and neither can I (simple folk !)
If you contact Tom Butler I am told he might be able to help. The car looks great and I wonder if you mind if I use the pictures on my website under the RTRS sales page ?
Regards and thanks again for your business.

However, get the spare beds ready as Mike and I are ready for a night out over your way soon!
